  • It increases brand awareness and strengthens brand loyalty. Being constantly present in your client's or potential client's inbox makes it easier for them to remember you and actually engage with your brand.

  • You can measure what works. Most mailing platforms offer tracking options that allow you to understand what content is actually being clicked.

Here are some tips:

  • Offer freebies. The most important rule about freebies is that they must be something that your followers actually want. If you are not sure what to offer, ask them directly thru social media — polls and questions on Instagram are awesome for this.

Remember that freebies are not supposed to cost you — unless you want to offer discounts — if that's not the case, you already have valuable information that you provide for free on social media; create e-books, templates, quizzes, or whatever that you have available.

  • Remind them about it. Imagine that your mailing list is a new product people need to be exposed to for them to want it. Remind your followers about the benefits of being on your mailing list, and don't forget that the signup page must be easy to find and submit.
